Our client a leading manufacturer specilasiing in the hospitality and trades are seeking a UK Sales Manager. With offices worldwide you would be working from their head office based in Colchester but will be required to travel and overnight trips will also be part of your role. The purpose of the role us to target key accounts and source new opportunities, you will create detailed counter layout proposals tailored to specific counter specifications and product requirements, demonstrate to customer how using their solutions can increase sales and reduce their wastage and much more. It is essential for this position that you possess outstanding communication skills have experience of selling within the hospitality, food retail and other catering related business, are able to develop relationships easily, understand a customer requirements and expectations and have strong negotiation skills. You will need to be someone who has a proven experience of selling to accounts using a consultative approach, be able to handle multiple projects at one time and always looking for a way to promote the company.

The Role
Working within the UK sales team and reporting directly to the Global Concept manager
Targeting key accounts and sourcing new opportunities to maximise the effectiveness of food presentation using the companies server ware
Create detailed counter layout proposals tailored to specific counter specifications and product requirements
Demonstrate to customers how using the solutions can increase impact on their food displays, increase sales and reduce wastage
Capture understanding of individual clients needs to recommend best practise and innovative solutions to resolve or improve their food display needs
The Person
Prior experience selling to accounts using consultative selling proves
Experience in a food orientated business such as food retail, caterer, restaurant or hotel
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Proven ability to analyse customers needs and goals to assist in generating creative proposals that exceed customers expectations and expand revenue opportunities
Excellent negotiations skills including the art of persuasion and creativity
Strong networking, prospecting, presentation, and, consultative selling skills
Ability to position company products on a way that produces distinctive competitive advantage
Strong interpersonal ski;;s, with the ability to effectively interact with various client styles and work environments
Expert in all MS office products, Excel, Powerpoint, Word
Full clean driving license
Overnight domestic business trips as required
