The Company
Our client is a Consulting Civil and Structural Engineering Practice providing a full design consultancy service and on-site supervision for the building and construction industry. They offer an extensive range of services offered. The Practice has, for many years, been involved with brown field development sites and on multi storey projects with unusual site constraint difficulties.

The Role
• Provide technical support to civil engineers on engineering construction projects
• Assisting with initial site surveys
• Arranging for lab analysis of soil, rock and materials samples
• Developing engineering design plans, by hand or with computer aided design (CAD) software
• Preparing estimates of labour costs and the amount and type of materials
• Drawing up timescales for the delivery of supplies, equipment and labour
• Negotiating with suppliers to get value for money when buying resources
• Inspecting projects and supervising progress
• Reporting problems to site managers and preparing reports for engineers.

The Person
• Minimum HNC/D
• Experience with AutoCAD 2011 (viewports, X-refs),
• Experience of work as a civil technician engineer
• Experience PDS and preferably Windes FW/SW Simulation networks etc

• S38, S104 submissions etc
• Simulation design and Source Control.

The Person
• Chartered, Civil Engineering Degree
• Minimum 5 years post graduate design experience in both roads and drainage schemes for residential developments,
• Good experience with Microdrainage, including SUDS,
• Familiar with Code for Sustainable Homes and Building Regulation Part M requirements.

Sales Engineering required for our global leading company. Responsible for all activities in respect of producing client proposals specific to Oily Water, Gas and Liquid Fuel treatment packaged systems for the Gas, Petro-Chemicals and Power industry.

The Company
 Our client a global leader in the filled design and supply equipment globally to the gas, petro-chemical and power industry.  Products are Peerless separation and filtration systems, Skimovex waste water treatment, Environmental Systems for the reduction of NOx, and, Industrial Silencers. 

The Role
• Enquiry receipt, application design/proposal preparation
• Issue and follow up of quotation
• Perform technical and commercial evaluation of bids
• Prepare calculation and code requirements as specified by client
• Review and complete checklists ready for handover to Contracts department
• Develop and maintain contact with clients, representatives and suppliers
• Contribute ideas and strategies within departmental team to develop sales and marketing opportunities
• Reporting to sales manager
• Supporting sales and contracts team

The person
• HNC Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• GCSE English and Maths – Grades A-C (or equivalent)
• Commercially minded and competent with the ability to prioritise
• Verbal and written language skills
• Pro-activity and multi-tasking
• Self-motivated, organised and confident

Desirable Experience:
• Oil and Gas Industry knowledge
• Experience of field work and factory testing
• Autocad/PV Elite
• Good keyboard and PC skills
• Good telephone manner and customer interface skills
• Ideally candidates will possess 5 years experience in waste water treatment, preferably in the oily water separation industry.
• Knowledge of sizing and experience in designing hydro-cyclones would be an excellent attribute.

The company was founded in 1955 and has grown and expanded in the modern times.  They  export 85% to countries around the world.  The client has high quality products have been specified for some of the world’s most prestigious projects.  The products are extensively used across a diverse range of industrial sectors and as market leader in this field we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated person to join our team.
The Role
As a Production Supervisor your role will be:
• To oversee and supervise the day to day running and efficient manufacture of seven extrusion lines, five compression moulding presses and one film and converting line with the semi-finished products department.
• Planning and organising staff shifts rotas and responsibilities
• Reporting plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance technicians
• Organise external contracts if required
• Stock taking
• Producing management reports on performance
• Monitoring quality control
• Updating production paperwork
• Identify and organise training need
• Be responsible for 15 staff members with their welfare
• Ensuring that the production line is running smoothly
•  Making sure staff are meeting their production targets
•  You will be working alongside Production Engineers and Maintenance Engineers on production improvement projects
•  Working with stores and dispatch and the sales team on timely deliveries.
• Monitor Health and Safety
• Report to the Production Manager
The Person
• Previous experience in Production Supervisory role.
• Have a background in the Manufacturing industry
• To have engineering bias or engineering qualified.
• Experience of managing and support the staff members.
• Good with delegation, time management, motivating staff members.
• Excellent Communication Skills
