As Multi-skilled Engineer you will be responsible for completing all preventative maintenance work on site on time and ensuring all records are completed and up to date at all times, ensuring unplanned downtime is kept to a minimum with regard to mechanical and/ or electrical failures. To ensure that all equipment is maintained to the manufacturers recommendations. To be proactive in detecting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical problems whether existing or potential on all equipment. To interpret engineering drawings and specifications when required to diagnose and resolve problems or when installing new equipment. To install or modify all existing equipment on site as and when required. To provide mechanical and electrical support and guidance to other Engineers as and when required. To drive and maintain forklift trucks working with external contractors, when required. To maintain factory servings very good order and ensure housekeeping around electrical substation and distribution panels are kept to the highest standard. The Person You must be a fully experienced electro-mechanical engineer with a proven track record of having worked successfully in a similar fast moving continuous manufacturing environment using TPM and other preventative maintenance systems. You must also possess a recognised electrical and mechanical engineer qualification, such as HNC/HND or NVQ Level 3 or 4. It is essential that you also possess PLC programming experience and a proven training record. Whats in it for you:

The Role Enquiry receipt, application design/proposal preparation Issue and follow up of quotation Perform technical and commercial evaluation of bids Prepare calculation and code requirements as specified by client Review and complete checklists ready for handover to Contracts department Develop and maintain contact with clients, representatives and suppliers Contribute ideas and strategies within departmental team to develop sales and marketing opportunities Reporting to sales manager Supporting sales and contracts team
The person HNC Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) GCSE English and Maths Grades A-C (or equivalent) Commercially minded and competent with the ability to prioritise Verbal and written language skills Pro-activity and multi-tasking Self-motivated, organised and confident
Desirable Experience: Oil and Gas Industry knowledge Experience of field work and factory testing Autocad/PV Elite Good keyboard and PC skills Good telephone manner and customer interface skills Ideally candidates will possess 5 years experience in waste water treatment, preferably in the oily water separation industry. Knowledge of sizing and experience in designing hydro-cyclones would be an excellent attribute.
