Part time Female support worker

Excellent opportunity for someone with a caring outlook wanting to help others in their own home. Experience preferred but not essential as full training and further qualifications within care will be provided. Working 25 hours per week over alternative days and including weekends, car driver is essential.

The Role
• Support Adults with physical & Sensory Impairments
• Include enabling a female with physical disability to support her 2 young children and to live as independently as possible within her own home
• To assist with all daily living tasks, to include light domestic duties
• 4 shifts a day to assist first thing in the morning, around school runs, mealtimes and evening support.

The person
• Drivers with use of own transport is essential.
• Having an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care  is preferred although not essential as you will have the opportunity to gain this qualification

Colchester based Support worker

This is a unique opportunity for someone with their own license to work within the Mersea and Colchester are assisting a young, make with learning disabilities with everyday life such as household tasks an assisting him with socialising and college.

• Support a Young Male with a Learning disability
• Assisting the young male to become involved in social activities
• Attend College and make new friends.
• To assist all daily living tasks

The person
• Full drivers license
• NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care preferred or a willingness to work towards
